Chinese New Years Class Assembly Script

This class assembly is based on Chinese New Years. It include 30 roles with at least two lines each but can be adapted for more or less children.

The editable word document includes a cast list for ease. Anything in blue font may need editing due to changes in dates each year.

The assembly begins by sharing facts about New Years in general and how the Chinese New Year happens at a different point of the year. It moves on to retelling the story of the race between the twelve different animals and looking at personality types connect to each year. Finally, it shares facts about how the New Year is celebrated.
It included ideas for song placements within the assembly but does not give any suggestions.
