AQA GCSE Religious Studies A: Christianity and Islam Revision
**No lessons included, but this pack does contain a full range of resources that can accompany classroom teaching for the whole GCSE period alongside a complete set of revision resources to cover the whole GCSE.
I developed this resource pack following 9 years of teaching experience and 2 years working for the exam board. The first group I used these resources with improved from an average grade of 3.9 in November of their year 11 to an average grade 5 in their summer exams.
The pack contains 3 linked resources:
- Writing mats - covering everything needed to support literacy improvement, structuring answers to exam questions, practising use of religious teachings, timing tips, sentence starters and a key word bank. Whole of paper 1 and 4 themes on paper 2 covered.
- Q & A flashcards - indexed to be used easily alongside the textbook / revision guide and set up in a front/back printed format for use in practising general knowledge
- Teachings flashcards - dual coded with the same images and colours as the writing mats to support retention
Writing mats can be used during any written activity to practice exam style questions as well as for revision before tests. Flashcards can be used for:
- Quick starter activities
- Extension tasks
- Revision activities in class
- Student led group work

Crime and Punishment
Human Rights and Social Justice
Images and colours are used to assist memorisation.
I have included 2 types of files in the folder. EASY PRINT files can be printed in school, although you might need to check your printer settings when using these ppt files for assistance on how to avoid printing in full A4 size.
A second set of files are included that are set up for PROFESSIONAL PRINTING. The flashcard resources for these files include 8 sets of cards, numbered in the bottom corner to help students not to mix up different sets.

A good revision pack, but doesn't include lessons (which I had thought for £50 it would include though I also recognise it doesn't state that it does in the description). A handy base of revision cards, flash cards and knowledge checks, but not worth the price
