The teaching PPT suggests areas of contextual research and key points that students should retain/discuss. The resource is inspired by the OCR A-level guidance but is suitable for any specification. It can be used when giving feedback to the students on an independent/group research task or broken down into sections, over a series of lessons, to compliment the analysis of Rossetti’s poetry. It works equally well at the start of teaching sequence or as a revision tool after the poems have been studied.
The teaching PPT includes answers to the task which can be expanded on further depending on the student profile. If used in lessons, the PPT will take 2-3 lessons to work through.
