Classifying Animals Activity Task Cards
This is a set of 28 task cards to be used as a classifying animals activity.
There are 7 sets of cards each using different skills to test student understanding. Each one has a different picture so that you can quickly differentiate which tasks go together and they are also numbered. Answer sheets are included if you wish to use them along with teacher answers.
You could set up group stations for each set of task cards or give each group one of each task. Alternatively, you could use these as differentiated tasks for a mixed ability group.
One set of cards include QR codes for research, so you may or may not wish to include these depending on your availability of technology.
These cards can be used as a stand-alone task or in conjunction with our lesson ‘Classifying Animals KS1’, available here: https://www.tes.com/teaching-resource/resource-12494431
