This is the 6th lesson that I have created for the coasts section of Theme 1 for the Geography WJEC a 9-1 Specification.
This is a fantastic lesson which starts with re-capping last lesson (lesson 5- unconsolidated rocks) followed by a fully resourced carousel looking at Long shore drift, Spits, Bars, Sand dunes and Tombolo's. I sometimes get students to model these with play doh! too. The lesson ends with looking at these types of land forms for real along the British coast and an interactive plenary.
