Collection of creative writing prompts suitable for KS1 and KS2 for Halloween

A collection of writing prompts. For the first, you could provide lots of little jars filled with seeds, syrup, hair gel etc and label them up with potion-like names. The children are required to describe each ingredient, how to use it and what it does. There is also a scaffold sheet to design their own potion, and three story/poem prompts. The over-arching objective is to write to describe using adjectives and adverbs effectively. I intend to print off a selection and let my pupils choose what they would like to do.
