A simple yet effective lesson for teaching student about the basics of Colour Theory, focusing and just Primary, Secondary, Warm and Cool Colours.
Students have the oppitunity to create a colour wheel showing the Primary and Secondary colours, as well as what warm and cool colours are. This lesson can be completed in watercolour, coloured pencils, or any other materials you would like. This resource has been designed for Key Stage 3 students.
Differentiated worksheets are provided to allow challenge and support for all students.
The Powerpoint includes a Do now task, main task, and a plenary focusing on self-assessment and understanding the success criteria for Colour theory.
A Powerpoint and PDF version of the lesson are available once purchased, so it can be changed to fit your needs.
