This lesson / resource covers **Shapes and Patterns ** and is part of the unit on Drawing and Manipulating shapes. This lesson looks at abstraction and the use of shapes to create graphics. It also introduces the idea that colors can be controlled by the computer to create gradients and color changes which is explored further in a later lesson.
This lesson was designed for Year 7.

All necessary resources to run the lessons are included in this download and all resources are for two single lessons per week for Years 7/8/9 i.e. should have enough to cover around 1 hour and fifty minutes.
