Key stage 3 ~ year 8 ~ complete lesson on Convection. In this lesson pupils will describe how energy is transferred by convection currents. They will apply this knowledge to different situations then explain how and why insulators are used to reduce energy transfer and compare different types of wall insulation.

Extension questions are included on the slides and there is a pick and mix of different tasks to select from for your students. Follows the Activate 2 KS3 course.
