Cool Math for Elementary Students

Let’s try math this way! Ideal for on line learning – use a different story each day and learn a math skill. Each story has activities for specific math skills. Use a variety of these to cover each of the study areas. In this unique unit you will find activities and ideas to support math skills to reflect students’ connections to real life. Math should not be taught in isolation so here you will find connections to suitable story books for each area of study. The areas of study are: Number, Algebra, Data, Spatial Sense, Financial Literacy and Social-emotional Skills and Mathematical Processes. Let’s make all of this into a “cool” learning experience for our students.
