This is a fully differentiated lesson looking at improving learners’ ability at creative writing using the theme of stealing as a stimulus. The lesson helps learners understand the importance of structure in creative writing and how to use this in their writing. The lesson uses a matching up activity and a model response to help learners understand how important structure is. Additionally, the lesson helps to consolidate their understanding of advanced punctuation. This lesson works well as a standalone lesson for creative writing or in teaching English language paper one.
