CVC Words and Pictures Phonics Worksheets Spring

This resource relates to spring CVC word work. There are three different activities for students to review letter sounds and to decode and read CVC words and practise reading sight words in sentences.

Spring Word and Picture Match (with Answers)
In this activity, students draw lines to match up the CVC pictures on the flowerpots to the words on the flowerheads.

Read Simple Sentences and Writing
Each worksheet contains sight words which the students should read and then read the simple sentences filling in the CVC words in the sound boxes that matches the pictures. Lastly, rewrite the CVC word. Please see preview pane.

Sight words: my, I, look, the, a, you, can, see, is, it, run, down, not, and, go, yellow, want, have, she, to, pretty.

Missing Letters in CVC Words (with Answers)

There are nine pictures on each sheet. Students use their phonic knowledge to complete the CVC words which have missing beginning, middle and final sounds.

There are b/w worksheets for the above.
