This Dangal Movie Guide | Worksheet | Questions | Google Slides (NR - 2016) challenges students to analyze this inspirational underdog story. Explore the complex relationships between Mahavir and his daughters as he trains them to win a gold medal for India. Think like a director and explain how some scenes cue the audience to the importance of the moment. Ask students to compare their lives to that of Geeta and Babita as they train day in and day out. Discuss the life lessons that can be learned from their story and how students can apply these lessons to their lives. Finally, research and identify differences between the true story and the Bollywood version and discuss why the writers chose to create these differences.

This resource consists of 15 high-level, short answer and essay questions that will do more than just ask your students to regurgitate information.
