For lessons on Describing Physical Appearance / Describing Myself in French (hair, eyes, body size etc) at Key Stage 2 or Key Stage 3 (KS2 or KS3) or equivalents, this is a Les Descriptions Physiques Unit BUNDLE with a 97-slide PPT Powerpoint presentation, writing activities (worksheets and puzzles), printable games and speaking activities. Includes vocabulary and phrases for hair and eyes (Les Cheveux et Les Yeux), together with body size and details such as freckles and beard and accessories such as hat, earrings and glasses.

My French basics / beginners resources are designed for Year 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8 for initial teaching or revision but might suit others, depending on experience. Please check the preview to assess suitability. Note that, where relevant, I have included within this BUNDLE alternative US, Canadian and UK versions with minor variations in spelling etc. Within the Zip file, all resources are in PDF, except for the PowerPoint presentation (which is also included in PDF).

• This 97-slide PowerPoint Presentation includes key teaching points, speaking activities, a quiz for review and an interactive game. Many slides feature answers that appear when you click, for students to respond. An additional PDF version is included. While the PDF version does not retain the ability for teachers to reveal answers by clicking, it will still allow you introduce and review this topic if you do not have PowerPoint where you work. Please note that the final 3 slides of the PowerPoint (an interactive hexagons game) are not compatible with PDF and the game is therefore omitted from that version.

• Writing activities: 7 worksheets or puzzles (with additional easier versions of 5 of them - see the preview file), including gap-fill exercises, drawing tasks and basic comprehension, a crossword puzzle and hidden word puzzle. Full answer keys provided. A vocabulary support page is also included for display or printing if required.

• Printable games and activities: a range of whole class and stations activities to review key vocabulary, linked questions, answers and grammar points. There are 2 Serpents and Echelles games (2 levels), another board game, 2 ‘I Have, Who Has?’ games (2 levels), an active oral card game and a human active bingo activity.
