A simple task designed to give students a cultural and historical overview for the development of the periodic table by different sciencetists at different points of history. Scientists such as Mendeleev and Newlands along with what their discovery was and when it was. This is a good task for students to do in line with the AGA topic Development of the periodic table. Suitable for foundation students.

In my opinion, not worth £3 as it isn't currently a complete activity to give pupils as there is no guidance as to how the pupils go about deciding where to place each person in the time line. I now have to go and find appropriate resources for them to use in order to complete this. I only purchase from TES when I am short of time and so this is a disappointment. <br /> Having said that, it is a nice idea and one that would be worth 5 stars if it came with a set of sources for pupils to use.
Thank you for this great hands-on activity to reinforce history of the periodic table learning!
