Dinosaur eggs in school plan and resources - focus on literacy but many cross curricular links

The planning and resources are aimed at a reception class but could be used in KS1 and adapted appropriately.
The plan included ideas for marking the activity, differentiation and ways to support early writing.
I planned this for a lesson observation that went really well (head and deputy both said it was working towards outstanding in the lesson).

In the plan there are 5 different literacy themed focus activities and an independent activity, including a rage of writing template opportunities. The activities are all based around the dinosaur eggs appearing in school with some links to Harry and the Bucketful of Dinosaurs texts.

The handwriting line guides are from the Martin Harvey scheme but can quickly be adapted and edited out.
