Drumline Movie Guide | Viewing Worksheet | Questions (PG13 - 2002)

This Drumline movie guide challenges students to think critically about this entertaining and emotional story. Students are encouraged to put themselves in the shoes of the characters and think about how they would respond. Compare the styles of Dr. Lee and Mr. Wade and how their approaches to leading the band creates different outcomes. Explore how Devon’s character changes throughout the film and the identify his turning point. Finally debate when or if there are times where individuals must shine on their own apart from a team to attain success.

This film teaches students that even the toughest attitudes can learn to work together within a team and be successful.

This resource consists of 10 high-level, short answer and essay questions that will do more than just ask your students to regurgitate information.
