EAL New Arrival Booklet 1 - About Me

This is the first booklet in a series of short induction topics for EAL new arrivals with varying degrees of English-language proficiency. This booklet allows you to teach some self-descriptive basics and then assess how well a student has absorbed and can use the language here. over two lessons. The vocabulary is included at the back of the booklet and contains basic feelings, hair, eyes, height, am, is, etc. EAL staff will already need to know how to assess by the new DFE codes of competency and steps.
