Thank you for taking the time to have a look at my resources.
I am a lead teacher with 23 years of experience teaching the various guises of GCSE PE. My resources tally up with pupil worksheets (that are filled in as part of the lesson)
My lesson construction involves utilising the “Rosenshine Principles of Instruction” so you will notice they are chunked, teacher exposition is pacey and interspersed with lots of “pupil do”
Often I break the skill into modelling an “I do” followed by pupil / teacher “we do” and promote independent study with a “You do”
All of these are linked to the AO1, AO2 and AO3 assessment objectives from the course. This promotes effective exam technique which is checked live and when you mark the sheets. There are lots of links to exam questions, homework and independent pupil study.
Please check out my other resources, including the “Do now” starter / AFL task / Homework (depending on how you want to use them) I have these for all areas - I use them as effective ways of starting the lesson.
