Edexcel GCSE PE 2016- Planes and Axes (9-1 specification)

This is an extremely detailed lesson to teach the new Edexcel movement analysis specification. This lesson is differentiated and linked extremely closely to graded learning outcomes. There are also several examples of what good work looks like within the power point, this helps to role model good work and ensure excellence.

The main part of the lesson is extremely engaging and differentiated, higher ability students worked much more independently whereas lower ability students were helped much more by the teacher and the presentation notes.

There is a consolidation task which uses an example 9 mark exam question, this is also broken down to allow students to see exam technique and ensure that they understand where each mark is awarded.
