Edexcel GCSE PE long answer structure strips

I created these structure strips to help my students have a better understanding of how to structure their answers for long answer questions.

I print them out and stick them to the side of an A4 paper, students use the information on the structure strip to help them write out their answer next to it. I have seen a massive improvement in the most recent assessment & the students have said they find them really helpful!

There are only 3 questions so far, i am creating more as i go. This file has structure strips on the following questions:

• Assess the advantages and disadvantages of commercialisation in sport. (9 marks)
• Discuss the impact of increased media coverage for the spectator and the sport. (9 marks)
• Evaluate how lifestyle choices in relation to diet and activity levels can impact on a sports performer. (9 marks)

All questions are from Component 2- Health and Performance from the new spec Edexcel GCSE.
