THIS RESOURCE RELATES TO THE PEARSON EDEXCEL 9-1 ELIZABETHAN ENGLAND BOOK.

This lesson begins with a challenging starter activity to get students to consider what they have learnt about Elizabethan England so far - low, high and challenging questions used for a differentiated approach. This could be widened into a main activity for revision at a later point.

Guided questions help students to explore Mary's execution and the work of Francis Walsingham.

It's a useful starter but I found paying £2 for a starter grid and questions based on the textbook too expensive. There is no new information or content at all, just the starter grid and questions for students to answer from the textbook information. £1 would be a fairer price.
