SESSION 11: ‘RIPTIDE’- MEDIA LANGUAGE, REPRESENTATION, AND CONTEXTS.

A Level Beyond sessions came about from all of the above and are tailored to the needs of students because I created them with students weaknesses and pitfalls in mind.
There are 11 sessions in total with each session focusing on one of the set texts and all aspects of RAIL/contexts that it falls under in the exam. Each power point includes:
-Key theory and terms needed.
-A past SAMS question focus for the lesson that is gone through at the end of the session.
-Key fact sheet considerations
-Good SAMaritan- Differentiated slides at the end of each slide to aide students attack the question as I would.
-A takeaway task to embed all they have studied in the session ranging from Mastery sheets to written exemplars.
NOTE: I am following EDUQAS Teaching Model 1 in my teaching/ SOW and my school is providing Media Studies as an AS/A2 .
