Fantastic resource! I started using these after visiting a private school. They use these at the start and end of all there lessons. They introduce the kids to these games in Y7 establishing a routine and then they use the games all the way up to Y11. So the kids are constantly doing active recall and you can make it random or you can do active recall for pre-req topics so the task/active recall is aligned with your most recent lesson sequence. These are really good for Low ATL or SEN heavy classes. Great way to boost engagement and thinking ratio without the stakes being too high. Also great alternative to more traditional 4-5 person group work. I print these off and give them out to each pair. The winning pair gets a prize! Always works. Creator is very responsive and has uploaded a jumbled student version so now you can just print these and go.
