A circus activity that introduces students to some of the properties and uses of EM waves.
I laminate each page on the pdf and set up an activity station for each type of EM wave. Cycle students around each station every 5-10mins. They can complete the activity at each station and write down their observations. Extension questions included at each station.
Materials required:
Portable radio
Paper/plastic/aluminium foil
TV remote
Ray box + Prism
Sun cream and moisturiser in unidentifiable bottles, UV lamp, polythene wallet, driving licence?
