Emotions and feelings scenario worksheets

Support the knowledge and understanding of emotions and feelings amongst your little learners with these 5 story scenario worksheets. The stories are based around well known children’s stories and require them to identify the emotion and character involved. Children are then encouraged to think of a real life situation of their own where they have felt the same emotion and feeling and the cause of it. It’s a fun way to encourage those children who are reluctant to talk, to open up about their feelings and emotions.

There are 10 worksheets included in the download, each one is A4 in size and each story has a differentiated worksheet, making it a valuable and versatile resource that caters for a wider group of primary aged children, ideally aged 6-9 years old.

There are a range of activities including circling answers, colouring, reading, retrieval, inference, short answers, sentences and recount. The worksheets are suitable for independent learning, small group work, nurture groups and interventions.
