In this activity, students will learn about the key events, strategies, and battles that led to the defeat of Imperial Japan in the Pacific theater during World War II. They will also explore the ethical complexities and controversies surrounding the use of nuclear weapons and other tactics, as well as the roles played by various Allied leaders and forces in bringing the war to an end.
