I have made a PPT covering the principles of calculating energy change of reactions. My many years of experience I have noticed that question is done very poorly by many learners, many through simple mistakes that can be rectified very easily. I also covered the 3 main situations that are required. For each one I have explained the use of the equation required: ΔE = m c ΔT and then explained an example of each one. This question comes almost EVERY year in AS and A2 exam papers so it worth looking at. Use it as a complete lesson and then follow up with many compiled question from past papers. All the best.
