I am having a problem explaining how to unlock Task 1: BOX 2<br />
The prime numbers from the previous task is the code; 197,43, 9, 23 but where does the 9 come from. It is not a prime number?

Hi this is excellent but could you explain to me what you mean for the box 1 spreadsheet task by "the answer box for each sum has a clue as what needs doing (these clues have had the letters jumbled up in order to confuse the player)". I am confused by this - how do they see the clues? I honestly don't understand how the kids will crack the code for this one- I certainly wouldn't without you already having given me it haha. Thanks!! Also box 3 task 1 crack the code - I can't get the link to open how do I find it?

The quote for the spreadsheet task is a mistake. The only clue for this task is on the spreadsheet where it says "These are some prime examples of maths problems". The code for the next file is made up on prime numbers. Not all of the answers to the questions in the spreadsheet file are prime numbers so they need to figure out which ones are and then use them to open the next box. Box 3 task 1 is a python file so you will need to have python installed in order for the file to open. I hope this helps.

The starter activity is called Starter --- News-Article and is one of the first files you see when you download the resource (It can be found in the same folder as the teacher instructions). I hope this helps.

This is a cracking resource! However - I'm having a problem accessing Box 1 - task 3's resource (spreadsheet). The code on the teacher's copy is 19743923. I saw in the comments some one else had the same problem and you put 1974323 as the code. Unfortunately, neither of them are working for me, am I doing something wrong?

Thank you for the review and I am sorry to hear that you are having issues with it. The code to open the spreadsheet task is Treasure. The code mentioned within each task is the one needed to open the next file. Hopefully this helps.

I usually give students 1 hour to complete it (same as a proper escape room). I get the studentrs in groups and I have had groups complete it in the 1 hour time limit.
