I am sending a comment in response to the one underneath mine. I had someone say some awful things about one resource I added, this lead me to take all my stuff off here and I haven’t added anything since. Although I think it is really important to point out when something is terribly wrong with a resource, I also think that people need to really think about what TES is for. I simply use some of the resources as a starting point, I may sometimes take bits and pieces to integrate into my own lessons or even on (the rarest of) occasion, even adapt the ppt to use with my own classes. I do not, however, use the resources to substitute for my lack of effort. I am really grateful that people like you take the time to share your resources with the rest of us teachers and I would really hate if comments below stop you from doing this. I did click on this particular character to discover that they had not added any of their own resources. I would like to say to this teacher that until you offer your own resources and we can scrutinize the quality of your work you may do well to remember how much time/effort people put into their planning. Like I have said, I appreciate that he has done it in a round about polite way, but the principal is still the same. Could he not just offer constructive advice? We put the resources on here to help other out don't we? Wouldn't that be better than his negative ‘comment’? I’m so sorry this is so long, I just wanted you to know that I think your resources are really helpful and that the majority of us are nice supportive people who want to help each other out! Sorry to be a party pooper, but this is not really a helpful resource. Yes, it breaks down the elements of the question, but in doing do shows a lack of understanding about what the question is and how it is marked. The images are not remotely akin to what is in the exam, and the suggested structure of a response would not get into the top band. Apologies, but this will hinder, not help.

I adore the way you explicitly break down the question and also the way you have the kids complete a self review of their learning. This has proved to be really effective.
