Excel basics - How to and tasks to complete KS3 operations, basic functions, cell references

This is a 7 page document perfect for students to work on individually. I would say it is perfect for year 7 and 8 but could be used for older KS2 children also.

The document starts with a guide explaining the following

cell references
columns
rows
operations
formulas

It then moves on to explain the basic functions and give students some tasks to carry out on these functions using some scenario based data.
SUM
MAX
MIN
AVERAGE

The document then briefly describes conditional formatting before explaining the COUNT and IF function.

I use this document by pasting it onto One Note. There is a space for students to paste their work but this can be done directly onto the document.

The document is on Word but is fully editable. It would be useful for IT cover work as it allows the students to learn independently but could also be set as a starter task in sections.
