Perfect lesson if you are teaching colours in French - a creative, visual resource with culture at the very heart of it.
This includes a poster of French idioms that have words for colours in them, then this paired with some English translations of French expressions. Then there is a written gap fill task, pupils will read a poem about colours in French and try to fill in the gaps.
This would be suitable for any age group in secondary school and can easily be adapted for older groups.
