Maths planning for Reception class for 5 weeks including whole class carpet activities and focus group activities
Updated using new development matters 2021 objectives for each week
Lists of resources included and split into work for books / files and work done by TA/CT
Planning can easily be extended into further weeks especially with this term having many extra curricular activities - Nativity performances / Christmas etc
Focussed on following White Rose Hub Maths - this planning follows a carousel theme following on from Autumn 1, focussing on numbers 1-5 and different activities to look at number / SSM within this

Does it have on the planning what will be out in your continuous provision for the week? I know it says take observations of the children in the continuous provision activities but can't find what you're putting in the CP. Does it have what would be in your maths area for example for the week and what opportunities are provided throughout the different area (like loose parts etc.)?
