These learning mats are give simple instructions of how to complete a fabric paint sample and also a felt applique sample with hand embroidery. I use these with year 7 students, for their first Textiles rotation. Students sample these techniques and evaluate them. They then use the techniques on their POP Art cushion. These are useful for differentiation, helping to support students recall information and complete their techniques successfully.
