With this activity, students will practice factoring trinomials, including by removing the GCF. After they identify the factors, they will color the mandala according to the color indicated for the factors (or GCF, as specified in the directions). Even unmotivated students enjoy coloring, so give them a chance to have fun while practicing their important algebra skills! When the students are done, the finished pieces make beautiful classroom decor and allow you to showcase your students' coloring, and algebra, skills!
