This booklet has been laid out carefully to master the specification’s required content. There are seven types of feminism which have their own pages. For each type of feminism, there is a grid which requires you to find quotes from the text and explain them in relation to the core principles on the left and provide a short summary underneath. You must also make sure you mention human nature, the state, society and the economy in relation to some of those principals in your grid. Towards the end of this booklet is another large grid which you should be filling in as you progress through the types of feminism to provide a grand overview of the arguments. It is also recommended that you use a highlighter whilst progressing through the booklet to support your reading. This may seem like a lot of content to comprehend, however, once you have a grasp of the main principles of each type of feminism everything snaps into place and answering the questions will feel natural. Essay structure and note-taking paper is towards the end.
For teachers: The grids for each type of feminism are to help the students understand that each type of feminism is more of a lens to look through rather than a core set of factual beliefs. The reasoning behind the word-searches and crosswords are simply due to the overwhelming amount of keywords in this unit.
