Food Category Sorting Cards

This resource contains 6 different food categories for students to match the appropriate food images into.

The categories included are:

♦ Vegetables
♦ Dairy
♦ Meat
♦ Grains
♦ Drinks

There are 6 food items to match for each card. I recommend laminating each of the individual parts so that they will be stronger, longer lasting and re-usable.

This resource is a great way for students to work on their sorting and categorising / categorizing skills. They are used with an Autism Classroom on a regular basis which have really helped to develop the children's understanding. As well as suiting an Autism Classroom, this resource would also benefit Spec Ed Classrooms and even Mainstream Classrooms.
