Fractional & negative indices problem solving activity.
A fun problem solving activity that covers fractional and negative indices. Work out the value of the indices questions on the outer two spinners and turn the discs such that adjacent values are equal. Add a third inner spinner or mix it up with blank spinners and get students to write on equivalent values. To solve the puzzle all answers should line up correctly (SET A).
Or for a harder challenge ask students to fill in the blanks by thinking of their own questions (SET B).
Blank discs are included (SET C) to mix and match with Sets A and B.
