This presentation (which includes embedded videos I made) helps teach adding and subtracting fractions with different denominators based on the year 6 learning objective. I break it down into 3 steps:

1. Finding the L.C.D.
2. Converting
3. Adding or subtracting.

This presentation has a beginner and expert level to get the children excited as well as example questions you can work through with the children on whiteboards when teaching them on the carpet or at tables.
