The CSSE is a higher level 11+ paper. A CSSE style 11+ English comprehension paper, with the text taken from Castle Gay a book by John Buchan.
This version is a version modelled on the CSSE 2024 english paper which includes 40 marks for the comprehension (the VR is now not part of the grammar school consortium test).
This is a paper which has been used to support our own 11+ students preparing for the CSSE exams in the past. (Mock paper 8 from the 2024 series.)
It is a FULL english paper (1 hour paper plus 10 minutes reading time) which includes a comprehension and the continuous writing section. Answers are included.
