This PPT includes a fun lesson about Christmas, practising vocab as well as cultural knowledge. I use it from year 8 onwards but it could be suitable for year 7s if you give them clues.
What to expect in this resource:
- Christmas vocab match up
- a quiz in 3 rounds that students can play in teams
- round 1 = music - titles given in French and students have to find the English songs
- round 2 = Christmas films French titles
- round 3 = Christmas traditions in France
- a game with a French Christmas song
Answers are included in the teacher’s notes on each slide.
Could be used independently or following a lesson where you introduce French Christmas customs (check out my page for more Christmas lessons).
