This is a plan and resources for a French lesson to use with KS2. It involves children learning the vocabulary for different places around town French. For example, the supermarket or church. The plan could be used for an individual lesson, or as part of a longer ‘my town’ unit.
The plan gives details of a singing starter, how to teach the vocabulary, a whole class listening game, a speaking activity, a writing activity and a plenary. It is highly interactive and allows children to practise a range of language skills.
