A comprehensive project/scheme of work on French music, perfect for Year 9+ .
There should be enough for approx. 20 hours of lessons depending on how comprehensively you do the activities. There are 5 units.
- La Chanson Française (1950s)
- Le Yé-Yé (1960s-1970s)
- La Musique Francophone/outre-mer (1980s)
- Le hip-hop français (1990s)
- La musique moderne (2000s-)
Each unit contains background information, video clips and linguistic and cultural exercises in a tailor-made workbook (word + PDF versions).
Each unit also contains additional song suggestions for further listening.
