Contains a 109-slide interactive presentation (with teaching points, vocabulary, interactive review games, and quiz), flashcards, worksheets, puzzles, fun printable games and activities; enough for multiple lessons to teach and review vocabulary, phrases, and sentences through speaking, reading and writing activities, and there's differentiation too. Originally designed for the classroom, much of the content is compatible with distance learning, especially the worksheets and presentation. Due to UK and US word and spelling variations, alternative versions of resources are included where relevant.   My FSL / MFL French basics resources and units suit students beginning French, near beginners and intermediate learners in: * Upper Primary (Key Stage 2 KS2) - Year 4, 5, 6 (Y4 Y5 Y6) * Secondary (Key Stage 3 KS3) - especially Year 7 and 8 (Y7 / Y8) * Equivalents such as Grades 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8 Core French in Canada * May suit others, depending on experience   Please check the previews to see a sample of the resources. All resources are in PDF, apart from the presentation, which is in PowerPoint (but it is also included in PDF).   This BUNDLE includes 3 resource packs that can be bought separately if you prefer: **[French Places in Town Worksheets and Puzzles](https://www.tes.com/teaching-resource/resource-12772684) [French Places in Town Presentation and Flashcards](https://www.tes.com/teaching-resource/-12773396) [French Places in Town Printable Games](https://www.tes.com/teaching-resource/resource-12772886)**   MORE DETAILS ABOUT THIS BUNDLE: These resources introduce and review vocabulary for 30 places around town and linked sentences and phrases, such as using the verb *aller* in the present tense and use of *près de*. An additional PDF version is included. While the PDF version does not retain the ability for teachers to reveal answers by clicking, it will still help you introduce and review this topic if you do not have PowerPoint where you work. Please note that the Hexagons game and Picture Grids game are not compatible with PDF and are therefore omitted from that version. The Multiple Choice Quiz has been left in the PDF version, although it is not interactive in that format.   Also within the Zip file is a PDF of flash cards for places in town, with two on each page.   WORKSHEETS AND PUZZLES * Vocabulary pages: A word mat of French words with images for 30 places in town (also in black and white format) and a 2-page vocabulary list, including key linked phrases. The one-star version is the least challenging, for lower ability, younger or less experienced students. Worksheets 3 and 4 are differentiated 3 ways. Includes jumbled words, translation tasks, a drawing task, and a short reading comprehension. * 3 puzzles - There’s a wordsearch, grid puzzle and hidden word puzzle. The first two puzzles are differentiated: the one-star version of the wordsearch gives the start of the French words, while the grid puzzle is included with around half the letters missing, most of the letters missing or all of the letters missing. Accents are not included in the wordsearch. * Full answer keys   PRINTABLE GAMES * 2 x Four in a Row - 2 different game boards. Print and laminate for repeated use. Students match images to the French words. There's an extra hidden sentence challenge at the end. Solution included. * "Où Vas-Tu?" Mime Game - A team game where students must perform mimes to make their teammates say the correct French words to match the images on the cards, which the mimer must keep hidden.
