Functional ICT/English task using word 1

A task for learners to complete and practice skills for writing letters and or emails that frequently occur when working on functional skills task

The task is designed to get learners to think about layout and the formatting of task they complete I have put marks against each formatting activity to show learners how marks can be achieved to ensure maximum marks and a successful pass rate can be gained.

The two task on the sheet also give the learner the opportunity to correctly email the task as an attachment where the tutor can give feedback on email etiquette and the task itself, which is also part of the functional skills standards for assessment.

Functional English
Natural links with functional English writing can also be gained with letter writing page layouts, spelling, punctuation and Grammar, sample letter layout also provided on the second page of the task
