These particular BUNDLE Focuses on Functional skills in English and includes the following;

1. Using a Thesaurus - Understanding synonyms and enabling learners to expand their vocabulary both verbally and with in their written communication. The Workbook requires learners to demonstrate these new skills and confirm understanding using a series of engaging tasks including rewriting a wonderful poem by Spike Milligan (Extremely relevant to the events of 2020)

2. Homophones - Includes various tasks and activities that to suit learners of all ages and varied abilities. Learners will be able to expand their knowledge of homophones and confirm their understanding through tutor assessment.

3. Dictionary Skills - Requires learners to demonstrate new abilities in how to use it effectively through a series of tasks. The tasks include finding words associated with each other and sorting them alphabetically and a timed activity where learners compete to find certain words in the quickest time. The final light-heated challenge requires learners to find words in the dictionary to describe each other and their teacher or tutor using the letters of everyones first names.
