Careers + The Future

New edition, new content for 2024. 15 hours of careers lessons (some are 2 hours long) in detailed, new, scaffolded and editable PSHE resource packs. These meet all the 2024 DfE and PSHE Association guidelines for Living in the Wider World and will also help you to cover the Gatsby Guidelines. The lessons have been created to prepare students for their entry into a challenging and ever-changing labour market, to recognise the need to be adaptive, life-long learners and master their interpersonal skills, Includes: How is AI affecting future job prospects? What are the work skills needed in the future labour market? Why are attendance and punctuality so important? What are Protected Characteristics? Employability Skills Introduction Careers - my skills and qualities (2 hours) Why should we be ambitious but realistic with career goals? Why must we mater communication skills? Why must we master teamwork skills? How can we manage our mental health in the work environment? What are our employment rights and responsibilities? How can we succeed in job interviews? How can we be successful entrepreneurs? Why are attendance and punctuality so important? Why are Protected Characteristics and the Equality Act so important? Activities are scaffolded, there is a detailed and colourful PowerPoint for each lesson lasting at least one hour, clip tasks with questions and answers, worksheets, signposting to further help agencies and charities, clear outcomes and also literacy, creative and partnered activities. All lessons are fully editable, engaging and very easy to follow. Who are EC Resources?
