In this activity, students will explore the life and contributions of Mahatma Gandhi, delving into his early years, his experiences with racial discrimination in South Africa, and his pivotal role in India’s nonviolent struggle for independence from British rule. They will also examine Gandhi’s philosophy of satyagraha, or nonviolent resistance, and its profound impact on global movements for justice and freedom.
