Gap Analysis Feedback Generator

Feedback generator template suitable for use with any test. Ideal for identifying class misconceptions as well as providing students with clear feedback and improvement tasks tailored to their performance.

Customise for your test (test name, question topics, marks per question, grade boundaries) - hide any unneeded columns
Input the student data (names, target grade and marks achieved per question - do it as you mark! it’s much quicker!)
Customise your feedback comments (improvement questions, choose to give % achieved, on/above/below target or both and % on a question for “you did well on…” comment)
all these cells are highlighted yellow - apart from student marks
The student data will be RAG coloured by question for class analysis to easily identify class misconceptions.
Delete the extra columns (do not relate to a question) on Feedback Sheets
Student feedback sheets will be generated containing (2 per A4 page): Student info, RAG coloured marks per question, target and achieved grades and improvement comments as customised

Suggested feedback lesson outline:

1. making corrections to tests
2. discuss class misconception 1
3. individual work on improvement task 1
4. discuss class misconception 2
5. individual work on improvement task 2
   EXT: continue with individual corrections
