This two-page document provides a neat overview of the key individuals, events and dates of the Edexcel GCSE Early Elizabethan England, 1558-88 unit.

I give this to students who are feeling overwhelmed with the amount of content in the specification, as it breaks the entire unit down into a manageable amount to begin revision.

As a class we also use this document to highlight key individuals/events/topics that have not appeared in recent exams to help focus students’ revision.

GCSE Early Elizabethan England Bundle

This bundle includes four packs which can be used for revision for the Edexcel GCSE Early Elizabethan England, 1558-88 unit. All resources have been updated to suit the changes to the 2025 specification. **Elizabethan England Knowledge Organiser** This knowledge organiser includes a breakdown of the key information for the unit, ‘cold’ and ‘hot’ questions which I use for homework and back pages filled with example questions, timelines and key words/spellings. There are two documents available with this purchase, which can be printed as an A4 booklet for students to keep with them for revision/homework.: - The first knowledge organiser is 24 pages long and includes short ‘cold’ and ‘hot’ questions for students to practice retrieval with. - The second knowledge organiser is 32 pages long and includes example exam questions with the exact amount of pages in the exam so that students can practice exam technique. **Elizabethan England Exam Practice Booklet** This document provides exam question guidance, including the structure of the paper, example answers and questions for students to plan and practice with. It is 24 pages in length and can be printed as an A4 or A5 booklet. The document can be modified to suit the writing frames your school uses. **Elizabethan England in a nutshell** This two-page document provides a neat overview of the key individuals, events and dates of the unit, I give this to students who are feeling overwhelmed with the amount of content in the specification, as it breaks the entire unit down into a manageable amount to begin revision. As a class we also use this document to highlight key individuals/events/time periods that have not appeared in recent exams to help focus students’ revision. **Elizabethan England catch up resources** Given the sheer amount of content we need to cover, I have created these catch-up sheets which can be place in students books if they miss core content lessons due to absence. These can be easily printed off and placed in a folder, so that when a student is absent you can select the correct lesson and stick it into their book for them to catch up in their own time. I have aimed to put the essential knowledge in however they are easy to edit if you want to add more detail/customise them to how you teach.
